Isaiah Chapter 40 Verse 28 : Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
2 Peter (3:9) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. — The Holy Bible (New International Version)
Can you outrun yourself? So what makes you believe that you can outlast, outrun or outwit your Creator God?
God’s patience is often misinterpreted as acquiescence, His entreaties are like an approval of wantonness, His grace and the space that He gives us to improve our behaviour is often misunderstood as His non-existence.
So many people now think and have the audacity to claim that God is dead. Many in our generation have chosen to defy and mock Him .
But this is a serious error and a grave miscalculation. The tons of evidence that have been recorded and that continue to be recorded of mankind’s experiences with God should be a check for anybody who hears about them. Why anyone would live to risk the future of his or her soul is still an astounding mystery to me.
Will you outmatch God? Who can rescue you from His hand in the day of His judgment? If God is also for you, then who can really stand against you? Only a real fool will ignore the voice of his Creator.
Promise yourself not to rest until you have been found acceptable to God your maker and the maker of everything. Be concerned for your soul and for the souls of your loved ones.
Time is soon gone and the things that you used to take for granted like walking, jumping, thinking and breathing easy, will be no longer so simple. So why not discover the great and wonderful things that the living God has got in store for you and for all those who put their trust in Him and for those who walk in obedience and love towards Him and towards others?
Turn your attention to Jesus Christ today. In Him is found all the secrets of the meaning of life.
