Vulture Worldview

Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
Matthew 24:38 NIV

Have you started thinking for yourself yet or are you letting someone else do your thinking for you?

Are you just following trends or are you doing your own research into the important matters of your life, your death and your hereafter?

Isn’t it amazing how the pile of fantastical anti-God rubbish that is often served up by the so-called modern  entertainment industry has become the rallying reference point for forming public opinion on God?

Most people slurp up and swallow as gospel truth the manipulative lies of many mentally and morally decrepit film and news directors.

Most people are too lazy to think twice. They reel in drunken stupor from the reek of social statistics. “They say, they say..” is all such people depend upon to decide the outcome of their eternal destiny. Crowd pleasers and crowd followers are what the majority of people have become. These folks have handed over their appetites to depravity and filth for a living.

How about you? Are you like a vulture? Do you look to the mocking crowds of the spiritually bankrupt to hide your face from godliness and holiness? Have you buried your head in the cesspit of life because “everybody else is doing it”?

Why not take time today to clean up your life? Get away from the baying bunch of stray dogs who call themselves your ‘friends’ but who in reality are just opportunists who do not care a farthing what happens to your soul.

Dust that Bible and start to spend more time reading up about Jesus Christ and what He has accomplished for you personally. Rip your mind free from the stinky garbage heap called “the latest @#$%&!”

Clean up your mind. And start a fresh new life in Jesus Christ today!

Guileless Truth

John (1:47) When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”
John (1:48) “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”
Luke (8:17) For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.
Luke (12:2) There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
Luke Chapter 12 Verse 3 : What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
— The Holy Bible (New International Version)

I had a dream in which I visited a place where everything that was truly on one’s mind and heart would immediately and audibly accompany whatever the person said. In this dream someone made a normal comment about me but much to his terrible embarrassment he suddenly started uttering scornful things against me. Those were his real thoughts about me now clearly unavoidably audible through his mouth. He was so very  embarrassed. But I helped him to get over his shame by letting him know that I did not hold anything against him. I was surprised to find that indeed nothing else to the contrary than what I had just said followed what I had just told him. I truly held no grudge!
I was full of joy to know that I had truly forgiven him.
I  realize that there is nothing that we can comfortably hide away from God which He does not know. All our secret thoughts are truly laid bare before Him in such a way that His judgements concerning us will be true and absolutely correct. There will be no contradicting God or  taking the liberty to criticize God. There will be no self-defense nor any type of defiance against godly opinion.
In my mind I think it is better to be humble and accept truth and fact than to be foolish and challenge godly wisdom and godly counsel. It is better to accept our faults  and to correct our ways than to make terribly unsupportable arguments to justify our stupidity.
There is coming a time when all false doctrines, false prophecies, immoral philosophies, idiotic policies and manipulative politics will crumble to dust in the face of a single matchless truth!
In that day, where will you be standing? You cannot pretend that you do not know or that you do not care. You are already well aware of the truth regarding your thoughts and your conduct. So why wait for such a time to be embarrassed? Why not own up and submit to Godly wisdom, forgiveness and truth today?
Be truthful! Seek out the truth from the heart and do not imagine that you are incorrigible! Think of the sound doctrines that Jesus has taught and start to align yourself with Godly righteousness and Godly truth today!

In Whose Interest?

John Chapter 8 Verse 48 : The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?”
John Chapter 8 Verse 49 : “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me.
— The Holy Bible (New International Version)

Acts Chapter 2 Verse 13 : Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”
Acts Chapter 2 Verse 14 : Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.
Acts Chapter 2 Verse 15 : These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning!

Acts Chapter 26 Verse 24 : At this point Festus interrupted Paul’s defense. “You are out of your mind, Paul!” he shouted. “Your great learning is driving you insane.”

Acts Chapter 26 Verse 25 : “I am not insane, most excellent Festus,” Paul replied. “What I am saying is true and reasonable.

Acts Chapter 26 Verse 26 : The king is familiar with these things, and I can speak freely to him. I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner.

Acts Chapter 23 Verse 1 : Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, “My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.
Acts Chapter 23 Verse 2 : At this the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth.
Acts Chapter 23 Verse 3 : Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!”
— The Holy Bible (New International Version)

It takes someone who is totally spiritually blind, extremely brainwashed or immature, unintelligent, demon possessed, wicked and evil or a plain fool , not to be able to read and discern the credibility of Jesus Christ and of  the firsthand witnesses  who captured the testimonies of the events that took place in their own lives as they interacted with Jesus. They  spoke the absolute and irrefutable truth concerning the human predicament and God’s plan for the salvation of humanity.

These witnesses were not trying to claim or fight for land or money or political power or  jostle for earthly fame. They simply went about warning people to turn away from doing evil and accept that only Jesus Christ has the power to save us all from hellfire and give us eternal life.
That these people of integrity should be greeted with such extreme scorn and consternation for nothing other than their divine expressions of love and concern for the safety of even their  human opponents, tells me that there are demonic powers at work. These demonic entities have subzero love for humanity and are determined to destroy whosoever they can lay hold of irrespective of cultural background, social status, tribe and race or political and religious persuasion.
The ultimate benefit in defying and denying the loving warnings, the life-giving message and powerful works of Jesus Christ, lies in the full interest and favour of Demonic realms.
This is why you should not be too quick to be dismissive or too lazy to listen to the message of Jesus Christ and save yourself.
Take the time to carefully listen to what Jesus Christ and His followers are saying to all humanity. Think carefully about why they found it so important to preserve this message even at the risk and cost of their own lives and reputations.
Be wise and do not be foolish. Wake up quickly before time runs out on you. Live wisely, start walking with Jesus your Saviour each day and be serious with your relationship with God today!
And may God protect you from all Evil this day and always, amen!

God is not impressed

John Chapter 2 Verse 23 : Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name.

John Chapter 2 Verse 24 : But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people.

John (2:25) He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person. — The Holy Bible (New International Version)

Let me tell you that there is no impressing God with lip service or giving token praises to Him in exchange for favours.

If you think that by simply attending church on Sundays and midweek  prayer meetings you have so appeased God that He will overlook your bad behaviour  throughout the week, you are making a huge mistake and doing yourself a disfavour.

God does not give permission to any of us to do whatever we want simply because we are wowed by His glory. He can see through our hypocrisy and will put any of us, on any given day, in our correct places.

Better to just walk away from God and preserve your life to yourself in honesty, receiving the mercies of God, than to play games with God.

Yet best still it is to sincerely humble yourself before God and receive His full attention and help than to miss out on His goodness.

Pay serious and close attention to the message of Jesus Christ and the true purpose of His signs and miracles. These works are not for your  entertainment but to deliver you from the foul and demonic powers of Satan whose intention it is to destroy your soul for eternity.

Take heed to yourself today.

Love Compels

“Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.”‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NIVuk

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭NIVUK‬

“For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!”  ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:16‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

Why bother to rise up and preach the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ when even most people would rather have you shut up? Why inconvenience yourself with the risk of being called names and tagged with all kinds of insults when the alternative to remain silent and save your ‘reputation’ is so easy? Let me tell you why.

It’s called ‘compulsion by the love of God’. It’s all about love. You are moved by the love of God and the love of your friends, your relatives, and by love for even those who hate and despise you, to warn of imminent danger and to announce the good news of the way of escape from this same danger.

You are urged by love to urgently let others know that the whole world stands under divine condemnation because of rebellion against God.

You are urged by love to tell people that no one is innocent, everyone is already under God’s judgment but that by trusting in Jesus Christ as  Saviour, anyone can escape God’s wrath that is already actively effective upon all of humanity.

You are compelled by love to let people know that there is no other way of escape because only Jesus Christ was purposely killed as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Only Jesus Christ was powerfully raised again from the dead by God’s mighty hand as proof and as vindication that Jesus Christ is approved by God, as His one only Son with power over life and death.

You are urged to urgently let people know that this same Jesus Christ   has been appointed once and for all to raise up and give eternal life to all those who put their faith and trust in Him and to all who will listen to and obey Him.

That some people should not want to listen to you, or that some people believe that you speak of far-fetched ideas, or that some people take personal exception and offence to your message of love as compelled by God, is just a temporary insignificant inconvenience when compared to the loss and tragedy awaiting everyone who refuses to incline the ear, take heed, carefully consider, concur and fully comply with this unique and great opportunity to be saved from God’s anger and judgment against the world’s sin and rebellion.

Are you motivated enough to let others hear about what Jesus Christ has done for everyone?

If not, why not get on with checking out what is really happening to humanity? Do not immunise yourself against God’s message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Get truly saved and help to save your loved ones and others today!

Po (Poor)Bluff…

“Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, ‘Son of David, have mercy on me!’”‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:48‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭28:13‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“LORD, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭9:13‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

Where there is great health and great wealth it is easy to find pride and arrogance. It is easy to be haughty and smug when all seems to be going right. You are on top of the world and think you know it all and have everything under your control. Yea, when you are rich you will make many friends. People will make time to listen to your views and opinions. You will use people and some people will even be ready to fight for you. At that time you will not want to listen to any talk about God, because you will easily believe that you do not need God. You will classify all preachings about God as gibberish irrelevant nonsense.

But when you get very sick and lose all your wealth, you will suddenly start scrambling to look for help. Your vulnerability will be highlighted and you will look around you for someone to have pity and compassion upon you. At that time you will lose all your friends and you will feel exposed and insecure. All the things you established and thought that you knew, including your high-minded opinions, nobody would want to listen to anymore. You will even contemplate ending your life quickly.  This is often the portion of those who fail to be merciful towards others.

The worse type of ignorance is found in those who think too highly of themselves yet are poor and often sick. They struggle day and night to climb an ever-elusive social ladder, but still do not want to hear about God. They think they have got life all figured-out and cling doggedly to hopelessly useless traditions and beliefs which are the things that bring them the very sickness and poverty that they suffer from. They too, like merciless wild beasts live by an opportunistic latent devilish instinct to kill or be killed. These types of people are easily manipulable and often respond to provocation with predictive violence. They are the real social lemmings, the kind who cannot or refuse to  think about God. They look to the loudest, the strongest and the meanest in their pack to lead them hand-to-mouth into a very highly dismal future.

A wise person, whether rich or poor healthy or sick, who spends much time contemplating on the true meaning of life will consider that God is the only Almighty and all powerful one. God is the owner of everything, holding the lifespan of everyone in His hands.

If there is one good favour you can do for yourself this day, whether you consider yourself self-sufficient and healthy or not, it is to embark upon an exercise of humility.

Come to the self-realisation that you need the mercy and protection of your Creator God. Calm your thoughts on this very day to think about the mercy and forgiveness that you need from God.

Cry out to God for mercy and do not let anyone or anything stop you!

And be merciful, gentle and caring toward others. It is no crime to be kind and considerate towards others. It is no crime to be humble and peace loving.

And may the good God of mercy listen to you when you cry out to Him today, Amen!

 Vaporisable Dreams!

“Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.”‭‭Psalm‬ ‭127:1‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“What do people gain from all their labours at which they toil under the sun?

I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens. What a heavy burden God has laid on mankind! I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭1:3, 13-14‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

How big is your dream house? How many rooms does it have? Which are your favourite cars? How many do you have? What did it feel like before you built your dream house and bought your cars? And how did it feel like after you bought them?

How many different places would you like to visit? How many places can you be in at any given time?

If you own the biggest, roomiest and nicest houses and best cars and if you could visit anywhere you pleased anytime you wanted, the most honest realisation is: that you can only be in one of these at any given time, that time is mercilessly unlimited and that once you have achieved your dreams, you will soon leave them behind as your satisfaction and lifetime diminish.

Without thinking about and working for God in your life, every project, every piece of work, every pet dream fulfilled will soon fade away like vapour with time.

The secret of real everlasting satisfaction is found in investing in eternal things. These eternal things are described in the Bible as ‘Heavenly treasures ‘ !

Think about eternity today and pursue everlasting treasures by investing your earthly life and work pursuing eternal things in Jesus Christ today!

Your wont regret it!
