Chide and Seek!

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbour as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.’” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭12:33‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:31-33‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

Where does God live? Do you know? Are you interested in knowing? And if you do know where He lives, how can you find Him or go to where He is? Can you just flag down a taxi and tell it to take you to where God lives? Can you use your GPS and plot in coordinates to God’s dwelling place? How many candles will you burn to light up a path that leads to where God is? How many bells will you ring to clear the way that leads to God’s residence?

When you wake up in the morning and say a prayer and ask God to reveal Himself to you, will He just come into your room and take you by the shoulders and give you a good morning hug?

When you kneel or bow down a hundred times a day, will that convince God to come out of His secret place? When you pretend to be angry with God and with His business and turn your back on Him who created you and walk off in a huff, will God run after you and say to you “look! Here I am!?” Will God get down from where He is to cuddle and comfort you in a time of sorrow and loss? When you devote yourself to living inside a temple dedicated to God, will He appear to you and take you to the place where is stays? Will He give you a tour of His home, cook a meal for you or serve you tea and coffee?

Where does God live? And how can you get to where God lives? God lives in Heaven and to get there you must take some interest and make a move to know how to get to His dwelling place.

The only way true to get to Heaven is by seeking out Jesus Christ to take you there. He is the only one who can lead you to God’s Heaven. By listening to Jesus, by believing in and obeying Him will get to see God at work in your life while you are alive and certainly get to see Him face to face when you leave this world!

Until then, don’t just live as you please or sit like a lame vegetable expecting that somehow your pastor, priest or religious guru or whoever can take you to Heaven. They cannot while you are alive and they cannot most especially after you are stone cold dead. Their prayers and incense will certainly not guarantee that your soul will somehow weave its way through the portals of the place where God rules as King!

Check out Jesus Christ today. Take a closer look at what He is telling you. Do not just assume that the beliefs of the Church or Christians are ancient relics, not worth listening to in this 21st Century.  Do not be foolish or stupid. Stop and think carefully about your destiny today! Where will you spend your eternity? Will it be in God’s Kingdom or will it be in another place where you will forever regret your slowness of understanding?

Seek out God today through Jesus Christ your Saviour! And do not put off your search for God to tomorrow. Start now!

To find God you have to embark on an adventure. In this adventure you are going to have to make some effort.

Religious Spaghetti!

Joh 14:1 Jesus said, “Don’t be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me.
Joh 14:2 There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back. Then I will take you with me, so that you can be where I am.
Joh 14:4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Joh 14:5 Thomas said, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Joh 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me. John 14:6 ERV

Joh 3:11 The truth is, we talk about what we know. We tell about what we have seen. But you people don’t accept what we tell you.
Joh 3:12 I have told you about things here on earth, but you do not believe me. So I’m sure you will not believe me if I tell you about heavenly things!
Joh 3:13 The only one who has ever gone up to heaven is the one who came down from heaven–the Son of Man. John 3:11-13 ERV

Kindly indulge me today but I need to ask a small question. What will it take for us to size up the real deal about what’s going down with all our souls? Figure this out for yourself:

Yes there may be “so many roads that lead TO Heaven”, but it seems pretty clear to me that only one of these actually gets you INTO Heaven. Everyone is saying “do this and do that, take this route or take that route and you might just find your way there.” But all Jesus is saying to you is, “You know what? Just wait where you are at, trust me, and I will come back and get you and take you there myself because that’s where I’m from.”

The spaghetti of paths to Heaven that religiosity throws at all our faces, frankly, in my opinion, is plainly designed to prevent people from even getting anywhere near HeavenAnd for a reason.  Many religious middlemen are more like human-traffickers and smugglers of illegal immigrants. They claim that they can guarantee safe passage to Heaven but all they do is prey on the gullibility of people to “tiff” their money while on this Earth. They lead people away from the true and simple way to Heaven by making people falsely believe that the process to get to Heaven is so complex that only they can get them to get there. Many people therefore have even stopped believing in the existence of a real place called Heaven.

But when you boil it all down, the way to Heaven is through simply trusting what Jesus Christ Himself said to His own disciples. He said to them privately and in confidence, “OK, guys, stop worrying about how to get to Heaven. You believe in God? Good! Now believe in me too! I am going back there to get ready for you all, and then I will come back and take you there myself. If this was not true, I would not tell it to you. Trust me, I am the way, the truth and the life, nobody can get into Heaven without my approval, my assistance or my help!” And Jesus Himself paid the dear price to get us all to Heaven. It costs us nothing but our trust and, yes, the ridicule of those who have decided that they ‘just don’t care about all that stuff!’

Read the complete chapter of John 14 and see the full discourse between Jesus and His disciples. Read up on the disciples’ honest questions and Jesus’ responses to their lack of understanding.

If you also can come through on this understanding, you may just be able to guarantee some space for yourself in Heaven by putting your trust in Jesus as your Saviour. You do not need to work up too much of a sweat on this. Put your trust in Jesus Christ. He is the guaranteed way to Heaven!

On the other hand, if you would still like to beat out your own path to Heaven or follow another way that you think will get you there, it seems to me that God Himself is not hung up about it, since has already revealed that you will NOT make it there by your own efforts nor by any other way except through His One and Only Son Jesus Christ.  So if the Son makes you free, you are really free- John 8:36. It shouldn’t be too hard to understand this truth.

Does this make you mad? Some folks get mad when others try to correct them especially on road instructions. And many people just do not like to be treated like kids who can’t think for themselves. But when someone is telling you the truth, it is NOT a good thing to get angry at them. It may cost you your life and soul!

Today, don’t be too proud to take correction if you are headed up a wrong path. Change tracks and take the right road to Heaven. Jesus Christ is the correct way that leads directly to Heaven!

Simple Instructions

Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’”‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:17‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

If you search the number of times that Jesus uses the word ‘Truly’ or in some versions ‘verily’, as emphasis, you will be surprised how often.

Believing Jesus’ message is of the utmost importance for all people everywhere. Here, Jesus is speaking about the way to God and how to get there.

If you do not simply trust Jesus Christ’s message just as a little child would and let Him take you to where God is, you will never ever see God for real! That’s it!

You can turn it over in your mind, deny it, scoff and fuss that you have found your own way to God. You may even invent your own beliefs and doggedly stick proudly to your own religious inheritance if you like, follow your own gods and bask in your own metaphysical philosophies all you want, but you will never ever see the true one and only God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, if you do not trust Jesus like a little child would.

That’s today’s simple message of Jesus The Saviour.

So check Jesus out today. Exert some effort to get to know Jesus Christ. All you have to do is to read up about Him in the Bible.

Start today!

Monkey Meets Chameleon!

“But the LORD said to Samuel, ‘Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.’” 1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.’‘Are you still so dull?’ Jesus asked them. ‘Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts – murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭15:11, 16-20‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

“He said to them, ‘You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:15‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

Once upon a time, a certain Mr. Monkey and a certain Mr.Chameleon came face to face on a tree branch, and immediately became jealous of each other. Chameleon wished he could spring nimbly and quickly from tree to tree and have as many friends as Monkey, but oh how slow he was! As for Monkey, he was ‘green’ with envy. He wished that instead of expending so much energy, tiring himself jumping around, he could just sit down lazily in one place, blend into the background and hide away from all his noisy friends and especially his enemies. He would have some solitary peace and quiet once and for all!

So for the rest of their lives these two neighbours became inconsolably miserable even as they worked out ways to fulfill their dreams.

But Oh! Hold it! They did both eventually become great inventors! Monkey created a special bleach plus an array of colourful paints to do makeovers every morning before going to meet his awestruck friends. And Chameleon came up with a special catapult to wow his slower mates as he whizzed awkwardly from branch to branch. What successful patented businesses they soon had going! And what an intricate range of complex policies, complete with health and safety clauses, they put in place! And how cleverly they lobbied and eventually passed through their parliamentary or congressional hearings, laws that made it obligatory for every single monkey and chameleon to possess and to use their contraptions!

Yet whenever they both met, Mr. Monkey, now Monkey Emeritus Esq. and Mr. Chameleon, also now Chameleon Emeritus Esq., would just act as though they had not so much as noticed each other. They would just pretend to go about their normal business! They would stop only just for a moment to stare each up and down with great envy.

On the inside they were still both very very unhappy creatures!

I am sure that you are probably wondering whether you are Monkey or Chameleon. But that is not the point.

The question is “what is it that is really going on inside your heart? “. Only God and you can tell. Are you battling with jealousy or envy or some other vice? Are you trying to justify wrong beliefs or doing what you know inside your heart is plain wrong?

Did you know that God made you for a special reason and purpose? Did you know that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life?

Remember that the most important change you can make in your life is a good change of heart.

You can gain the most beautiful change of heart by humbling your inner self  to God through Jesus Christ.

Take a moment now and pray to God to help you to get rid of all the hurt, the jealousy, envy, bitterness and unforgiveness or any other wrong things that may still be hiding in your heart.

Do this today and you will discover real peace of heart and mind!

Brood of vipers? Yikes!

They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.‘Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. [14]
‘Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started! ‘You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Truly I tell you, all this will come upon this generation. ‘Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” ’”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:4, 13, 15, 32-37, 39‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

Do you really think for one moment that these words are coming from someone who is making empty threats and who does not know what he is talking about?

“I am sending you prophets and teachers. Go ahead and kill them and you will meet us at the other side, you bunch of snakes! We will see then how you will escape from Hell!”

Jesus even allowed Himself to be killed and then rose again from the dead as a powerful validation of the integrity of His identity, works and claims!

In the passages we see that Jesus is severely reprimanding the religious leaders of His time for their hypocrisy, their stubbornness, their greed for fame and fortune, their faithlessness and disloyalty to God. Jesus prophesies the judgment that awaits them in the next world.

These are no mere or empty threats.  Judging from the uniqueness of Jesus’ birth, His life, His miraculous works and His powerful message of salvation, His unique death and resurrection, I would most definitely NOT want to be in the same shoes as the Pharisees and Jewish teachers of the law whom He is addressing here. Would you?

Stop and think straight today. What lies ahead of you in this life? How about in the life to come? What do you make of Jesus Christ? Will He save you? Why not endeavour to get on the right side of Jesus’ favour? Or do you prefer to reject His sacrifice for your sake and defy His warnings about what awaits the rebellious in the world to come after this lifetime?

Get it right my friend! Do not gamble away your soul for the temporary rubbish being served up in this world.

Get to know who Jesus Christ really is!

Dented Pride?

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners – of whom I am the worst.”‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

This is an excerpt from a private letter from Paul to his ‘Talibey’ or disciple; a letter now in public domain for all people from everywhere to benefit from its contents.

Paul was once vehemently and actively anti-Christian but after his powerful encounter with Jesus, he spent the rest of his life undoing the damage he had done against God’s work in the church.

Paul considered himself most unworthy because of his past, and now worked extremely hard to make known the truth about Jesus.

Very few people of public repute and high social status would readily pour contempt on their own previous bad behaviour for the sake and the benefit of a greater and better cause. They would rather wish to quickly bury their weakness or hide it away than use it as leverage for improving upon themselves and others.

Most people are boastful, proud and self seeking. And when it comes to their personal image they would jump to their own defence at all costs, even when it is plain for all to see that they were dead wrong.

Very few people would readily admit their sinfulness to their own very selves let alone to those who look up to them for instruction.

The extent of the impact of Paul’s head-on encounter with Jesus Christ can be seen in all Paul’s letters to the various Churches of his time. Paul literally preferred to class himself as a fool & sinner, and considered his own personal and public reputation and accolades as bullcrap in comparison to the knowledge of Salvation that Jesus Christ had brought about for his sake and for the sake of all mankind.

“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”. Philippians‬ ‭3:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬

And you? How do you consider yourself? Too good and high-minded to know about or to ‘waste your time’ getting to God?

Remember that mighty people have trod your path before. You won’t be the first nor the last to make a good or poor decision regarding Jesus Christ. But also remember this, you can wager your life on the integrity of Jesus Christ and on the trustworthiness of His words more than on anything else in your lifetime and come out as a winner, with, of course, some good and necessary damage to your pride and ego.

Stop today and think real hard about how to get right with God through Jesus Christ. You can’t lose!

For Blog’s sake, God’s sake or your sake?

Eze 33:30 “‘And now about you, son of man. Your people lean against the walls and stand in their doorways talking about you. They tell each other, “Come on, let’s go hear what the LORD says.”
Eze 33:31 So they come to you as if they were my people. They sit in front of you as if they were my people. They hear your words, but they will not do the things you say. They only want to do what feels good. They only want to cheat people and make more money.
Eze 33:32 “‘You are nothing to these people but a singer singing love songs. You have a good voice. You play your instrument well. They listen to your words, but they will not do what you say.
Eze 33:33 But the things you sing about really will happen, and then the people will know that there was a prophet living among them.'”

Eze 33:1 The word of the LORD came to me. He said,
Eze 33:2 “Son of man, speak to your people. Say to them, ‘Whenever I bring enemy soldiers to fight against a country, the people choose someone to be a watchman.
Eze 33:3 If this guard sees enemy soldiers coming, he blows the trumpet and warns the people.
Eze 33:4 If people hear the warning but ignore it, the enemy will capture them and take them away as prisoners. They will be responsible for their own death.
Eze 33:5 They heard the trumpet, but they ignored the warning. So they are responsible for their own deaths. If they had paid attention to the warning, they could have saved their own lives.
Eze 33:6 “‘But what if the guard sees the enemy soldiers coming, but does not blow the trumpet? Since he doesn’t warn the people, the enemy will capture them and take them away as prisoners. They will be taken away because they sinned, but the guard will also be responsible for their deaths.’

“Why do I bother to rise up early every single day to write these Blogs warning people to get right with God in this godless generation? They won’t listen, they don’t want to hear about God, they won’t change, they are so stubborn, they don’t care, they consider it out of fashion to talk about God! All they’re interested in is fame and money for themselves.”

“What is it that stirs me up so much to do this? Do I want to seek attention for  myself? Will someone benefit from it? Will some people pay attention and get saved by doing something about what they read? Should I just abandon this whole writing thing? After all I am not being paid to do any of this!  Maybe I am offending and losing my friends, maybe people will think this or that of me”!

Folks, these and more thoughts cross my mind every time I awake to write and post what I believe warns all of us about God’s truth and true intentions concerning humanity.

Politicians won’t tell us about God’s intentions for our souls, our business partners won’t and neither would we get this type of information from our colleagues at school or in the workplace. Our employers certainly won’t dare to “proselytize” for fear!

Urgent information concerning the destiny of our soul is not coming from probably the majority of prominent Churches today, who are mostly busy tickling the ears of people with social human club teachings, politics and promises of prosperity to increase offerings and do money business.  Worship leaders are too busy praising God and entertaining us but are not warning us of what is to come upon this world.

Is anybody out there listening? There had better be! I want my soul, the souls of my family & relatives, the souls of my friends, the souls of the people of my country to be saved and delivered from that terrible place called Hell, where all those who refuse to obey truthful Godly instruction and heed Godly warnings, are destined to end up. I, for one, am determined to take no chances because there is only one shot in getting it right. What will it profit anyone to gain the whole world and lose his or her soul? We only live once so we HAVE to get it right, getting on and staying on God’s correct track to Heaven!

No amount of post-death ceremonies, begging for the forgiveness of the souls of the dead, and pontifical blessings can rescue your soul after you have died because this earthly realm IS THE place to get everything right with God! That is the whole reason why Jesus Christ HIMSELF CAME HERE to do what He did for all our sakes before going RIGHT BACK TO WHERE HE CAME FROM. Otherwise, He would just have remained where He was and then we all could just live as we pleased trusting the Priest, Pastor, Bishop, Shaman or whoever else to intercede and beg for an after-life forgiveness of our sins. There is no such thing as an after-life forgiveness of sins. The forgiveness of sin process takes place right here in this world and now.

Why not get a hold of the Bible and read up on all this for your own good sake? Read about the destiny of your soul and about how to get on the correct path with God? Jesus Christ is the way to God. Get to know Him for real and stop depending upon guesswork,  false prophecies, impossible laws and false promises to wager the final destination of your soul!
