Frozen Love Thawed

People are stiffening up with each passing day because of fear that their neighbour might just be the next hardcore criminal. You just can’t be too sure anymore that people are who they seem to be.
With all the random shootings and bombings, and with all the endless fighting around the world, almost no one seems safe anymore.
Fear breeds more fear and more fear breeds anger and anger breeds violence in a desperate attempt to guarantee ones security and survival. And violence of course breeds more violence.

Humanity is caught up in a vortex of violence. The unpredictable has rendered people more pessimistic. Pessimism, scepticism, fear, doubt, uncertainty and unpredictability are the perfect recipe for fuelling violence and destroying peace and love.

Nevertheless, the reality of the application of Good News of Jesus Christ is the perfect antidote for diffusing the very things that cause people to fight and kill each other. That is why it is called the Good News. The power of the message of Jesus Christ lies in the Love, forgiveness, reconciliation and peace we can have with God and with our fellow human beings.

The power to truly love another person comes directly from God to humanity through the name and authority of Jesus Christ by the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

Granted there is a devil whose job description is to adulterate and oppose any opportunity for people to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Yet to all who sincerely come to Jesus Christ there is the powerful testimony of great uncommon peace from the discovery that God is actually in full control of ones destiny. There is also great consolation and joy to know that life takes on its clear and powerful meaning and purpose in Jesus Christ.
